Psalm 36 (especially verses 5-12) is a beautiful Psalm of David. I’d encourage you to go and read the entire chapter. In the Psalm, David contrasts the wickedness of people around him to the greatness of God. In verse 7, David talks about the perfect love of God and then says, “People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”

It’s as simple as that. His love makes us able to withstand the conflict, hurt, pain, and disappointment that comes our way.
