There are some people that always want to debate the specifics of Christianity. They want to debate on certain particulars of what they believe. To me, much of this is useless, but there are certainly things that I’m not willing to give an inch on. Here are some…
The Bible is God’s word to us. It’s complete and infallible.
God is the creator of the world and everything in it. It all belongs to Him.
Man is sinful and in need of forgiveness. Whether we are born that way or just inclined to do so, we are sinful and destined to hell on our own merit.
God loves humanity.
Jesus is God’s son. God sent Him to bridge the gap between us and God and allow us to have eternal life. Jesus was born of a virgin.
Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life. He was crucified according to the plot of man and resurrected according to the plan of God.
All those that put their trust in Christ as their Savior receive eternal life.
Christ will return to take those that believe in Him to heaven.
Everyone will face judgement according to what they’ve done. Those that have Christ’s sacrifice covering their sins will receive eternal life. Those that have rejected Christ will be condemned.
The church is the bride and the body of Christ. We are to do His work, His way.
What else do you hold tight to when it comes to your faith?
