Who am I?
Who are you?
The answer to those questions goes deeper than we often think it does. We often try to define ourselves in so many ways. whether we realize it or not, what we really believe about who we are is what determines the things we do, the way we react to others, who we build relationships with, the joy we have in our lives, and how we deal with disappointment and difficulty.
These 3 “F” words define perfectly who we are when we’re a follower of Christ…
Forgiven
If you’re a Christ follower, you are found. Christ found you when you didn’t even realize he was looking for you or that you needed him. when we realize that he found us, we realize that we didn’t do anything to earn his finding. It was all about him. We live gratefully and joyfully because of it.
Future
God is a forward and future thunking God. He has a future for you, you have purpose. When we come to grips with the fact that the Holy One, the Creator, the Almighty has a future for us, it changes things. Thats where we find our identity! We find who we are in the future God has for us, not the past we’ve pave pd or the present where we lay. Your future is bright! Mine too!
Fortunate
We’re blessed! No matter what you have,p or think you don’t have, you have enough. You have air in your lungs and a beat in your heart (check to be sure. If you don’t, quit reading and call fir help!). We are blessed. Thats what we should base our life on…. what we have that wasn’t earned or bought. That makes us better and happier people.
