He who hesitates is lost.
I’ve heard that statement countless times throughout my life. Usually we hear this statement in regards to making a decision, deciding between two things, or making a big purchase we’re unsure of.
I was flying a few weeks ago and and thought about that common quote while we were taking off.
My thought went something like this…
If this pilot got half way down the run way, two wheels off the ground and then hesitated, we’d be in a mess. It would cause some serious damage, delays, and maybe even death.
I think that’s true in a lot of parts of our lives…
He who hesitates is lost.
Or, maybe we should say…
Hesitation can cause devastation.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all for making patient decisions, hearing from God, and seeking wise counsel, but once you hear and know, you gotta go.
Hesitation can cause devastation.
