“If we only have the will to walk, then God is pleased with our stumbles.” – C.S. Lewis
I am constantly teaching the youth that I lead that their faith is more important and essential than their perfection.
The problem…
Many of us have never come to that reality.
We’ve tried to become perfect.
We’ve come to realize that we can’t do it.
So we’ve abandoned trying to do anything significant for God.
Our damaged view has caused us to abandon the call.
Thankfully, our God has never called us to be perfect, just repentant.
Thankfully, our God has never called us to be perfect, just usable.
Thankfully, our God has never called us to be perfect, just subordinate.
Don’t let the fear of a stumble prevent you from experiencing the joy in walking!
