Our focus determines our direction. It’s true in any walk of life. It’s true in any organization. It’s true in our spiritual lives.
If our focus is on ourselves, others, or our own personal goals, our direction want be towards where God is calling us.
I think that one of the great problems within the Church is that we have lost our focus. We’ve allowed all of the other things vying for our attention take our focus off of the God that created us and saved us.
If our focus is any where else, we’ll fall short. If our focus is any where else, we’ll miss out on a lot of blessing. If our focus is any where else, we’ll fail to live up to our full potential in Christ.
So, the challenge is for us to examine our focus. In every walk of life, if our focus isn’t on Christ and His call, we’re going to fall short.
We’ll miss every time if our target is on something else!
