What would it take for us to seriously give all of ourselves to God and His calling upon our lives? It’s often in times of trouble and distress that we seem to be more willing to do this. Here are some of the times that I’ve seen people dedicate themselves fully to God…
- Death of someone they love
- Sickness of someone they love
- Sickness themselves
- Something suddenly taken from them
- Car accident
- Brokeness
God is willing to allow us to go through some stuff so that we will fully rely on Him and be completely devoted to Him. I wonder, however, why it takes something like the things listed above for us to give fully to God?

- Free will
- Provision of needs
- Jesus
- Forgiveness
- Sustaining us
- Relationship with the Father
- Blessing
- Eternal reign with Christ
