There’s a saying that most of us have heard all our lives when it came to our self confidence…”God don’t make no junk.”
Humans tend to play favorites. Teachers have their favorite students, parents have their favorite children, and kids have their favorite friends. We like to play favorites, but when it comes to God, He loves all of us.
As a matter of fact, the early church faced a dilemma about this issue. In Acts 15, we see Peter addressing the other apostles about the issue of Gentiles being saved. I love what Peter said in verse 8: “God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us.” In other words, God doesn’t look at what you do or how you look, He looks at your heart. God’s there for everyone…God loves everyone!
So, no matter how you’re feeling today. No matter what the voices around you are trying to tell you about who you are, remember…God don’t make no junk!
