I’m always looking for new things to make my life a little easier. Everything that I can find that allows me to be more efficient and less forgetful, I’ll certainly take it. Plus, I just love stuff like this. Here are some of the web gadgets that I’ve found useful lately:
Google Reader. This has been a huge help lately. I follow a lot of blogs, and this allows me to see when each of them are updated. I only have to go to one spot to view 50 blogs, it works great!
Twitter. If you’ve had your head buried in the sand the last 4 months and haven’t heard of Twitter, it’s a social networking tool that allows users to constantly update their status through a web site. I really like seeing what other people are up, what they’re thinking, and what they do.
Logo Smart Logo Maker. I’ve used this for a couple of years now, and it works great. This is the only professional looking, free logo maker I’ve ever came across. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
You Version. This is great to use online and to download to your mobile phone. The online version offers a journal and allows you to read, comment, and view other’s comments. The mobile version allows me to take the Bible everywhere I go. Both also have a daily reading guide that gives me a guide for my daily quiet time.
Muddy River Media. This one probably won’t benefit most of you, but it has videos that illustrate and teach available for free download. I’ve used several of these with my youth and with the church congregation.
What tools are making your life easier these days?
