Climbing to Success

Most people would say something like “work hard” or “work more” when asked about the best tool for getting ahead in our life or career.

The truth is, I think there’s more to it than that.

Sure, we have to be willing to work hard, nothing’s going to be handed to us.
Sure, we have to be willing to work long hours, it’s part of showing we want more responsibility.

But,

If you want to get ahead… no matter what you’re doing or where you are in life…

Be Consistent.

  • In leadership.
  • In serving.
  • In parenting.
  • In preaching.
  • In loving.
  • In working.

It’s not enough to occasionally do our best,
we must do it consistently.

No matter what!

What do you think? What is the key to climbing the ladder? What proves you’re worth promoting?

  1. First key…make sure your ladder is on the right wall.

  2. Good insight. I think consistency is crucial to success in parenting especially.
