Anticipating 2012
As I head in to 2012, one word keeps coming into my mind…
Anticipation.
I’m anticipating…
- God to seem more present in my life than ever before.
- God allowing me to reap what I’ve sown.
- God doing more than I could have ever asked for or imagined.
- God giving me opportunities to impact the world around me like never before.
What are you anticipating in 2012?

Those are wonderful things to anticipate. I’m looking forward to those things as well as learning to have more grace towards others and to develop my relationship with the Father. Happy New Year, Jonathan!

I’m anticipating a lot. A few weeks before the new year, I felt God saying 2012 was going to be a year of His favor on me – and that some of the things I’ve been praying about for years would start coming to pass. I pray some big prayers, so I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to see what this year will hold.

Seeing what doors God will open for us. Starting 3 new jobs this week (plus continuing in 1 other one). But 3 of the jobs / ministry opportunities are only guaranteed through May.

I can resonate with your number 1 and number 3, but your number 2 is very interesting to me. You can take that two ways, at least. Reaping what you sow in a good way meaning you have sown good seeds and anticipate a good return. But also reaping what you sow in a bad way meaning you have sown bad seeds and are fearful of anticipating a bad return. I have regrets and don’t like the thought of reaping from those regrets. It gives me encouragement, though, to intentionally sow more good seeds than bad seeds this year.
