Who or Who’s

You and I are unacceptable.

Seriously, we’re born that way.

Ever since the fall of man, we’ve been sinful. It’s what we do. It’s who we are.

The good news?

Jesus came to change that.

He came to change who we are…
to change our very identity.

It’s not in changing our actions or changing our personality or thinking we can earn something that we become acceptable…

It’s only by changing our identity… by taking on Christ’s.

Jesus doesn’t make you acceptable by changing what you look like, but who you are.

If you’re struggling, remember that today…
It doesn’t matter what you do or what you’ve done…

All that matters is you’re in Jesus.

  1. Powerful reminder JP. I know personally, I give much more stock to what I do than I should. It really is all about whose we are.

  2. I needed to hear this today… had a particularly difficult weekend. Thanks so much Jonathan! God uses you to encourage His people!

    1. Glad it encouraged you. Sorry about your weekend… know you needed a good one. Hope your week makes it better! Thanks for encouraging me as well.

  3. A wonderful reminder for each one of us. So sharing this one!
    Have a great week!

  4. Amen to that! I wouldn’t have said that better!

  5. My identity is not in what I do or what others think of me, but my identity is tied to Jesus by what He’s already done. As one who needs to discover more of my identity in Christ, I needed to be reminded of this.

  6. There’s not really much to add to that.
