Stressful Jobs

I came across this article a few days ago.

It lists the top 10 stressful jobs.

Here are a few that made the list…

  • Real Estate Agent
  • Emergency Medical Technician
  • Newscaster
  • Photo Journalist
  • Public Relations Officer
  • Commercial Pilot

Looking at that list, I can see where each would bring a certain level of stress. Caring for others, having other people’s livelihoods and well-being in your hands is certainly stressful and difficult work.

It just got me wondering…

What do you do? What’s the most stressful part of your job?

  1. Self-imposed deadlines. :)

  2. Pastor. Time management.

    1. Can definitely see that!

  3. I started out as a Social Worker within our county government. Now, I am a Disability Advocate and, basically, work as a Social Security attorney would (completing paperwork & going to court with disabled persons).

The most stressful part of the job is two-fold. The first is seeing people that really are disabled get denied for services. This stops their financial assistance with my department and they are thrown to the wolves. The second stressful part is the time limits in getting paperwork done and other peoples’ inability to do their job in a way that helps our mutual clients.

All-in-all, I’ve found my dream job and love going to work every day and being able to impact others by showing them God’s love without ever speaking the Gospel. I am so blessed!

  4. Sunday’s coming…every week.

Teaching: Dealing with the parents thinking it’s YOUR fault their child is not learning or it’s YOUR fault they are acting out in class. Also, having to just get the kids ready to take tests and not actually being able to TEACH kids.
