Every Tribe.

Yesterday, I came across this article on CNN.com and this photo.

I can’t help but think of this….

Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

  1. I want to pack my bags now! Great picture. Where did they say it was?

    1. It’s in Brazil. Here’s the link: http://ht.ly/3Pvsx

  2. I thought the exact same thing yesterday.

  3. […] This post was mentioned on Twitter by Sandy Sandmeyer, Jonathan Pearson. Jonathan Pearson said: Every tribe. http://su.pr/1EIg5J […]

  4. You’re right. I hope that picture reminds a lot of Christians that our work is not done.

  5. One of the things I’m most looking forward to in heaven, is hearing every tribe, tongue and nation worshipping God. I’ve caught a glimpse of it every time I’m in Czech, and they start worshipping in the Czech language to a song I know in English…and you can hear English and Czech worshipping God together. So amazing.

  6. There is still work to be done, no doubt.

  7. By the way…I like this redesign. The header is pretty sweet.

    1. I had JUST put that up to see how it looks. There’s my answer! Thought it looked like it was flipping upside down. Goes along with the turning upside down thing. :)

  8. JP,

I’m a horrible Christian. When I first read this article and saw the photo, I thought:
Man, I hope they don’t eat any missionaries that go to them!

    Like I said- horrible Christian.
