The Most Encouraging Verse

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 (NIV)

This is one of the most encouraging Bible verses in all of scripture.

It’s the words of our Savior, assuring His people that He has our back.
It’s the words of our Savior, assuring His family that the trouble will only be temporary.
It’s the words of our Savior, assuring His followers that He wins the war.

No matter what is facing you…

No matter how big or how small…

Take Heart!

Jesus has overcome the world!
Jesus has won the battle that you’re facing.
He knows it isn’t in doubt.
He’s already won… The victory parade is coming around the corner!

    1. He has already won, but, as you say, the victory parade is still on its way. In the meantime the world will want you to think the parade isn’t coming, so don’t bother waiting for it.

Hard to understand in today’s age of instant worldwide communication, but it still applies.

      1. Truth right there.

  3. Amen, something I needed to hear! Love you!
