Voice Blog: Excellence Over Execution

Why do we so often forget that God desires our best not just our leftovers?

Why is it so easy to forget our real purpose for living?

Why is it so easy for us to get caught up in the day-to-day that we forget about eternity?

I’m constantly wrestling with this.
I never want to be someone that gets stuff done if it doesn’t get done well while I’m at it.

So, question for you…

How do we balance doing things with excellence and being over concerned with doing them with perfection?
Should  we strive to be perfect in what we do, or just do it as best we can?

  2. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go. Ecclesiastes 9:10

I think we should do our work with excellence and all that we have but NOT at the expense of relationship building…with the Father or others!

    Great post bro’

  5. I think in order to be excellent at what really matters, we need to learn to cut corners on the things that don’t. Excellence takes time, and our time needs to be protected.
