Who He Is, Who I’m Not

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

-Psalm 100

When I see who He is,
when I  see who I really am.

When I realize what He’s done,
When I know how little I can do.

That brings worship.

Praising God with this Psalm today…

  1. Awesome word today bro. Love the Psalm.

    On a personal note, I start my day with my personal reading & prayer time and I always finish with a Psalm that I flip to. It’s an awesome way for me to start out.

    1. Same with me most days. Great way to start the day off!

  3. Great post today!

    On a bloggers note :) When do you capitalize the words “he” and “him”? In the bible it is lower case as your post states but I’ve seen it in church where it is capitalized when ever it relates to God or Jesus.

    Just wondering!

    1. Yeah, it’s never capitalized in the Bible, but I always do if I’m writing about Jesus, God, or the Holy Spirit. Not sure what’s exactly “proper” though.

  4. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness. Psalm 29:2

    I’m a little late reading your post today…but I’m with ya!

    1. As long as u read. :)

    Great word today. I always try to start out my quiet time with a Psalm and finish with one too. They almost remind me of love letters.
