I @sk: Tough Lessons

by

in

A couple of days ago I asked the twitter world to respond to this question…

What’s the toughest life lesson you’ve learned.
Here are some of the responses…
@arrowmustfly The toughest life lesson I have learned is that we r all

capable of doing things we never thought we would do, given the degree
of circumstances and desperation we feel at the time. It is a terrible
thing to learn that we are no better than the next guy. My mother
often used to say “There, but for the grace of God, go I.” The life of
King David demonstrates how low we can fall, trying to get what we want.

@markrsmith just because people in the past had ulterior motives
doesn’t mean people I interact with now do. Still not 100% sunk in.

@artiedavis Greatest life lesson learned: To have healthy, lasting,
meaningful relationships you have to> Initiate, Initiate, Initiate!

@ez37 To not be afraid of what the world thinks, stand and be
myself, be who I was meant to be.

@twopiemike To never, and I mean NEVER, take a joyful moment for
granted.

@revkevgcc balance of time between family and ministry. Toughest yet
MOST important.

@Robb_H To forgive as Jesus forgives. Not there yet, but working on it.

So, allow us to learn from you…
What’s the toughest life lesson you’ve learned?
Go!

The toughest life lesson I've learned is letting go and letting God. I think most leaders have issues with control. This was one of the hardest things for me to realize, that I can't fix everything and I don't have everything under control.
