Scripture:
Romans 2:29 “No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God’s Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.”
Devotion:
We so often hear the word “change” and immediately think in negative terms. When things begin to change in our lives, it makes us uncomfortable. Anytime things begin to change, it means that we won’t know what to expect and ultimately, things are out of our control.
However, true change happens on the inside of God’s people. True change is an inward transformation that brings about an outward modification. Change is what happens when God is allowed to take over and do with us what He wills. We have to be willing, we have to be obedient, we have to be motivated, but change can happen in us!

Have you been changed lately by the Spirit of God? Why or why not?

Ask God to show you what needs to change in you. Ask Him to help you change.
