“I have to be faithful in my current position to accomplish my God-given vision.”
I wrote this down in my quiet time journal last week. God continues to teach me about where I am and where I’m going.
I think one of the tempatations that we all face is looking forward to what we think may happen in the future to the extent that we overlook where God currently has us. We have to be faithful now, if we want to get to where God has called us.
Where has God placed you right now? Be faithful in and enjoy your present position. Look forward to the vision that God has given you, but never overlook the journey that you are in that will lead to it.
I wasn’t reading this when God spoke the above quote to me, but I think this says it best…
“So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?” Luke 16:11
